This week’s challenge is “The Ground is Lava”: Win the Mutagen Formula scenario with the Flight modular encounter set, using only heroes who have or can gain the Aerial trait. During this scenario, whenever an identity changes to alter-ego form, deal that identity 2 damage.

It’s time for another Marvel Champions Weekly One-Shot! This week’s challenge is “Whose Show is it Anyway?”: Defeat the Mojo villain as the Spider-Ham and/or Deadpool hero(es). During this scenario, Show environments cannot leave play (ignore their “When Revealed” effects).

Challenge 12 – September 30, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Wrath of the Mad Titan”: Defeat the Thanos villain using only Avenger and/or Guardian heroes. The final blow can only be dealt by a hero with 1 remaining hit point. After completing setup, advance the main scheme to stage 2A.

Challenge 13 – October 7, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Complete the Collection”: Win the Infiltrate the Museum scenario as any hero(es). During this scenario, players cannot remove cards from The Collection, and The Grand Collection main scheme no longer causes players to lose when there are 5 per player cards in The Collection.

Challenge 14 – October 14, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Symbiote Smackdown”: Defeat the Venom villain with the Venom Nemesis encounter set as the modular encounter set.
Only the Venom hero, Web-Warrior heroes, or heroes with “Spider” in their title can be used. After setup, each player searches their collection for a Symbiote Suit and puts it in play under their control, then searches the encounter deck for an Enraged Symbiote and reveals it.
During this scenario, each Symbiote Suit gains permanent, and each Enraged Symbiote triggers the villain’s Forced Response when attacked.

Challenge 15 – October 21, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Fickle Crowds”: Defeat MaGog as any hero(es). During this scenario, at the end of each villain phase, move 1 per player ratings counters from The Challengers to The Champion.

Challenge 16 – October 28, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Everyday Heroes”: Win any scenario as any hero(es) without any identities flipping to hero form (each player must stay in alter-ego form for the entire game).

Challenge 17 – November 4, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Mystic Mayhem”: Defeat Ebony Maw using the Adam Warlock Nemesis and the Doctor Strange Nemesis encounter sets as modular encounter sets. Only Mystic heroes can be used for this scenario. At the end of each villain phase, first player reveals the top card of the encounter deck.

Challenge 18 – November 11, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Lock and Load”: Defeat Crossbones using the Osborn Tech, Goblin Gear, and Military Grade modular encounter sets (remove Experimental Weapons). During setup, shuffle four random Weapon cards from these modular sets together to form the Experimental Weapons deck. Shuffle the remaining cards into the encounter deck as normal. For this scenario, only heroes with Weapon or Armor identity-specific upgrades may be used.

Challenge 19 – November 18, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Lone Wolf”: Defeat Stryfe solo as any hero with no allies in your deck (replace any identity-specific allies with aspect/basic cards). During this scenario, whenever you defeat a minion, draw 1 card.

Challenge 20 – November 25, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Field Study”: Defeat Dark Beast using the Temporal modular encounter set. Each player must use a hero whose alter-ego has the Genius trait. During this scenario, whenever a minion is revealed, resolve the “Special” ability on the Setting environment.

Challenge 22 – December 9, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Not Easy Being Green”: Win the Risky Business scenario using only heroes from the following list: She-Hulk, Hulk, Gamora, and/or Drax. Each hero deck must use the Protection aspect for this scenario. During this scenario, if there are ever 6 per player or more infamy counters on Criminal Enterprise, the players lose the game.

Challenge 23 – December 16, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “The Wreckoning”: Win the Wrecking Crew scenario as any hero(es). After setup, search each encounter deck for the following attachments and reveal them: Magic Crowbar, Ball and Chain, Distracting Taunts, and Bulldozer’s Helmet. During this scenario, each villain gains +1 SCH and +1 ATK for each defeated villain.

Challenge 24 – December 23, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
This week’s challenge is “Absolutely Zero Tolerance”: Win the Project Wideawake scenario using the Future Past modular encounter set. Players can only use X-Men heroes for this scenario. After setup, search the encounter deck for Bastion and deal him to the first player as a facedown encounter card. At the end of each villain phase, if Bastion is in the encounter discard pile or victory display, deal him to the first player as a facedown encounter card.

Challenge 25 – December 30, 2024 (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram)
Our final challenge is “Boss Rush”: Defeat the Hela, Taskmaster, and Mister Sinister scenarios, in that order. Players do not reset the game state between each scenario; instead, as soon as one scenario is won, remove all encounter cards from the game (except for Captive allies) and replace them with those of the next scenario, then resume play from the beginning of the player phase. During these scenarios, if any hero is defeated, the players lose the challenge.
